Photos of your loved ones!

It's no secret we love cars, and photographing them. If you have a special little someone in your life then why not get some photos to adorn the walls of your man/woman cave?

If you live in the York area, simply get in touch and we can sort out the details. It's not scary at all and you'll be left with a great memento of your favourite 'vehicle'.

Online Safety Tips

TIP 2. Anti-Virus

It goes without saying that in this day and age we should all have anti-virus/malware software on our machines. If you haven’t then it’s not a case of ‘when’ you get a virus – it’s that YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE – or more!

For home use. Try Sophos – free for PC and Macs.

MAC - https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-antivirus-for-mac-home-edition.aspx
PC - https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools.aspx

*Avoid MacAfee like the proverbial plague. Kaspersky also looks like it slows your machine down to a crawl too (am currently testing 4 anti-virus programs and pitting them against each other).

If you don’t have protection on your machine, your bank account could be emptied at any time.

Stay safe online this Xmas - and beyond.

TIP 1. OLD ONLINE ACCOUNTS

We’ve all signed up for this, that and the other boards, cashback site, online grocery site over the years and then forgot about them. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases, they haven’t forgotten about you…

• Trawl through your old emails going way back and dig out anything for sites you no longer use. Log onto the site (you may have to reset your password), remove any card/financial data and then close your account. Do this for ALL accounts you no longer use.

E.G. Took Ocado up on their free trial then never used them again? KILL IT.

Used to have your broadband with TALKTALK? KILL IT and so on.

Had a free email account with Yahoo/Compuserve/madasafish.com – KILL KILL KILL

*REMEMBER - the fewer accounts you have out there, the less likely someone can pull down details and build a picture of your personal details.

&

“Before A Winter Thin” is about a soldier leaving for his last tour of duty in Afghanistan. He is badly injured by an IED the same night as his wife gives birth to their baby daughter back home. It is a snapshot of the lead up to and immediate aftermath on the couple. The script is very lyrical and will be read by the writer, Sandra Robinson.
